Neverwinter is coming to Xbox One in 2015

The popular action MMORPG will be free-to-play if you have an Xbox Live Gold membership next year.

Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have announced this morning that their popular action MMORPG Neverwinter will be headed to home consoles in 2015. Set in the sprawling Forgotten Realms of the Dungeons & Dragons universe, Neverwinter has players embarking through harrowing dungeons, and even creating their very own setups using the game’s customizable Foundry feature.
Since its initial release on PC in the summer of 2013, Neverwinter is currently gearing up for its fourth module this August. Den of Geek reviewed the vast and vibrant new take on the D&D universe last year and found Neverwinter to bring all of the action and atmosphere that fans of the series could ever want

According to the official press release, Neverwinter will be “available first” on Xbox One, which implies a release on PS4 at some point as well. Like its PC counterpart, Neverwinter is also free-to-play on Xbox One, so long as users already have a Gold membership for Xbox Live. The game is expected to launch in the first half of 2015 for North America and Europe.
